[L1]This gives more flavor to the sentence, and “basement” is literally nothing more than a basement – below ground, while a “crypt” can contain anything – even magic.  OK?

[L2]Changed to conform with other docs, OK?

[L3]Someone can be “baffled” (confused or puzzled) but there’s no such *thing* (in this context) as a baffle. OK?

[L4]Clients or customers?  “Constituent” is usually used in a political context, despite its other definitions — and they (the constituents) are the ones that vote for you.

[L5]I know what you mean, but this is an odd way to refer to “the tools you need” – since this particular tool is used when changing a tire on a car, or to break into a shop to rob it!

I see that you are using this below – “Crowbar presentation” in which case, I suggest that you print that word bold or in italics in order to distinguish it as a brand concept – so that it loses its strange connotations – OK?

[L6]Customers? Clients? (See earlier note)  OK?

[L7]Customers? Clients? (See earlier note)  OK?

[L8]Better to put this in bold, rather than underlined, as per other documents in the group, OK?

[L9]This is a verb here (to lay out) not a noun (layout), OK?

[L10]Non-parallel construction so changed to make it grammatically correct, OK?

[L11]This might just sound too offhand — since you make it sound as if you might not complete the job if it isn’t fun — OK?

 [L12]refine? (another option)

(Note: in all of its documentation, the company has opted to use ‘e.g.’ without the comma; certain terms that might seem awkward are either industry standard terminology or were coined by the company to denote specific processes, actions, etc. and the company requested that they not be changed.)

  •          Payback (reverse) charges – ability to credit customer’s account for certain types of activity (e.g. receiving incoming calls).
  •          Subtotals in custom reports  – it is now possible to include subtotals for individual groups of data in a custom reports.
  •          Routing calls between multiple nodesin case if your network contains multiple nodes, you may choose to designate one of the nodes as the “master” routing entry. The other nodes will then sends off-net calls to that node, and then itwhich will do the actual routing to the carriers.
  •          Collection threshold – invoices with toovery low amounts due will be ignored by the collection process, so no notifications about the unpaid or overdue invoice will not be sent and no suspension will happen if theresult from unpaid invoices. is not paid.
  •          Support for WiMAX services XXXX® RADIUS server now supports WiMAX RADIUS attributes and can be used as an AAA server in conjunction with WiMAX ASN.

Collection Threshold [O1]  The collection process (notifications, suspension onfor overdue invoices, etc.) will not take placeoccur if an invoice is for a lower amount than the specified minimum amount due value.

Payback (reverse) charging

A rate, that is marked as a reverse one, contains exactly the same set of parameters as the normal rate. The total amount is calculated according to the same rules as described above – with the exception that this amount is then credited to the customer’s account.

This allows tofor “giveing back[O2]” money to the customer for somecertain types of service (e.g. when he receives an incoming call).

Prepaid Card Billing Features

XXXX® offers an extremely flexible rating and authorization engine for providing prepaid calling card service,. which It contains the most comprehensive set of special features, required for this type of service. Please see more details in the XXxXX Handbook (Prepaid Billing Features section in the Appendices chapter) about the specific functionality available.

XXXX® can collect information about the call fromvia various network elements of the network (e.g. xxx and the media gateway, combine the individual pieces [O3] and produce a single CDR record.

Note: In XXXX® you configure the rate information using two parameters: the price for the first interval (First Price) and the price for subsequent intervals (Next Price). Most of the wholesale carriers figure the rate by using only one parameter:, price per minute. So when importing such a file into XXXX® you would need to assign the First Price data field to the column, that containsing the price and then link the Next Price to it. Since it is a very common operation, for your convenience the rate import wizard contains a special data field: Price. This If this “virtual” data field if is assigned to some a column it will populate occupy both First Price and the Next Price columns with the value found in that columnthere.

Ready to move forward?

In order to proceed, you must assign at least the Destination and Price data fields to columns in the file.

The Destination Description field is not required for the actual rate import, but it will be very useful later on, if there will beare any new destinations to be created. – so assign it if there is data available in the file[O4]

Click Next[O5]  to proceed.

Review Rate Information

Rate The rate import wizard will process the rate data according to the rules we previously specified and present the results for can review onscreen it before storing them in the database.

The Status column shows the comparison between the current rate in the ZZZZ  and the new rate in the XXXX® file, so you can quickly understand how exactly how the rate is about towill change. A Rred arrow indicates the a price increase (so this destination becomes is more expensive) and a green arrow indicates the a price decrease (so it is nowmaking it cheaper to call that destination). Also yYou can see also view the actual price differences between prices represented as a relative and/or absolute values.

You can edit the rate data right here (for instance, you have negotiated a special last-minute rate change with the carrier or wish to fix a data error in the file) – just double-click on the specific cell in the table and enter a new value.

As you can see on the screenshot, the rate for the 447 destination contains preference [O6] 7 (while most of other rates contain preference 5) – this is because there is an existing rate for this destination, and it is already assigned preference 7.

Click Next in order to proceed.

Managinge New Prefixes

This screen only appears if the rate file contains any prefixes you do not havehaven’t yet defined in your system yet and it allows you to deal with adding new prefixes quickly and efficiently. As a result tThis process takes a minimum amount ofvery little time and reduces a the chances of foran error.

The situation when a carrier sends you a rate file, which contains some prefixes, which were not yet defined in your system is fairly frequent. Carriers frequently send rate files containing prefixes that have not yet been defined in your system. Obviously tThese prefixes must be added into the system in order to for rates to be created a rate for them – and so the big questions are: is how this will this affect the routing and billing on your system in general?, i.e.andhow will other carriers and customers will be affected?.

 [O1]Note:   Similar entry  above —

 [O2]“awarding back” OK?

[O3]could simply say ‘information’ here —

 [O4]this seems redundant — OK?

[O5]I made this Bold, as per the following same sentence.

 [O6]preference? Correct?Not prefix?
